After building the first Siemens and Fuhrländer turbines in France last year, another first will soon emerge in the neighbouring country. The construction stage of Volkswind’s project Corpe’s first Gamesa turbines will shortly commence in the area of Vendée. This reinforces Volkswind’s strategy to build up a geographically diversified wind farm portfolio with turbines from various different manufacturers.
